This Halloween, Deadfellaz has teamed up with sports betting company, DraftKings for a limited-edition NFT player cards drop. Notably, the cards will feature 13 professional football players transformed into the Deadfellaz IP. What’s more, the cards are exclusively playable in DraftKings’ NFT fantasy football game, Reignmakers Football.
Let’s take a closer look at the Deadfellaz x DraftKings Halloween partnership:
About Deadfellaz x DraftKings Halloween partnership
For its latest Halloween drop, Draftkings will turn players into Deadfellaz characters. The players on the list include Nick Chubb, Jalen Hurts, Alvin Kamara, Kyler Murray, Deebo Samuel, and Matthew Stafford. The company will announce the remaining players later.
The partnership will see many first-of-its-kind utilities. For example, NFT holders will get access to gated Deadfellaz-themed contests and exclusive NFT prizing. Besides, they will get a chance to compete for a share of the $1,000,000 Reignmakers Football prize pool. Finally, players can use the cards for the Halloween weekend lineup starting October 30.
“We are thrilled to be working with DraftKings on this collection,” said Betty & Psych, Co-Founders of Deadfellaz. “We love building bridges from the Web3 space into other communities like fantasy sports fans. This collaboration with Reignmakers provides a strong opportunity to innovate and bring the value of Web3 to the fantasy sports industry.”
The collection will drop on October 25th on the DraftKings Marketplace.
What has Deadfellaz planned for Halloween?
The DraftKings partnership is only one of the many activations Deadfellaz has planned for Halloween. Its biggest IRL event, DEADZONE LA, will take place on Halloween weekend. The one-night event will see the Horde gathering for a night filled with live art and music. The ticketed event will go live on October 29 in LA’s Arts District at Skylight ROW DTLA.
