This month, the iconic beer producer Budweiser’s Budverse teamed up with FIFA for an exclusive World Cup™ NFT collection. Collectors with a legal drinking age can already mint the sports collectibles on the official platform until December 18th. Each NFT comes with unique experiences, including a Web3 Mini-Game, live NFT scoreboard, and other rewards. What’s more, the luckiest participants can win a 5-star VIP Budverse 360 experience too!
Budverse x FIFA World Cup™ 2022: What is this NFT drop about?
Starting this week, soccer fans can experience the FIFA World Cup™ in the Web3 world too via Budverse. In essence, this exclusive drop consists of Live Scoreboard collectibles. For $100 per NFT, holders will gain access to a one-of-a-kind experience until December 18th.
To begin with, each mint will come with a Budweiser Football Merch Kit, Accordingly, holders can redeem the kit post-mint including the following items:
- 1 Budweiser Football trading card
- 1 Budweiser World Cup™ scarf
- 1 Budweiser aluminium cup
In addition, each NFT also allows you to enter the Budverse Penalty Kick Mini Game – and that’s when the fun part begins!
What perks do NFT holders get?
Firstly, NFT collectors can select their favorite football team in the Budverse Penalty Kick Mini Game. Each player can create their own character and shoot to climb the leaderboard. The higher your score, the more points you get!
Once you chose a team, you can track its real-time progress in the World Cup via your NFT. Surprisingly, this is the first NFT allowing holders to track a sports team’s progress in real-time.
Finally, each Live Scoreboard NFT holder is automatically signed up in a race to win the Budverse x FIFA World Cup™ 360 experience. This one-of-a-kind hospitality package comes with outstanding perks as follows:
- 5-star hotel accommodation for two;
- World Cup™ Finals & Third Place match tickets to Doha;
- All-inclusive food and beverages;
- Exclusive experiences in Doha.
Note that the event dates run from December 15th to December 19th, 2022. You can mint more NFTs to increase your chances of winning; however, the maximum amount is 32 collectibles per wallet.
Why did Budweiser team up with FIFA?
FIFA World Cup™ has been bringing football fans together since 1930. Today, the group has the same mission – this time, using Web3 technology with Budweiser. In fact, the two giants are celebrating more than 30 years of collaboration, hence this exclusive NFT drop.
Nevertheless, this isn’t Budweiser’s first NFT partnership. Previously, the brand has launched NFTs with NBA legend Dwayne Wade, Zed Run, and VaynerNFT. Furthermore, its debut NFT collection – the Budverse Heritage Can – sold out within an hour.
All in all, Budverse’s collaboration with FIFA World Cup will most likely be a hit. Are you ready for a match?
