The vehicle manufacturer Shelby American, Inc. has announced plans to expand into Web3 by appointing Virtua as its official metaverse partner. The partnership will see Shelby American go into the metaverse full steam ahead. Undoubtedly, this is the first of many metaverse initiatives.
About the Shelby x Virtua partnership
Shelby American will work with metaverse platform Virtua to create the ‘Shelbyverse’. This will be a virtual world where Shelby enthusiasts can engage with unique digital collectibles, memorabilia, and the wider community. In addition, Shelby fans will be able to enjoy the brand’s unique slice of Americana in the virtual world.
Shelby, Virtua, and Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson announced the initiative at CNFT Con 2022 Las Vegas. At the event, Cardano users were the opportunity to network and celebrate all things Cardano.
Fans attending the event could sign up for Shelbyverse and be entered to win limited edition Shelby American digital collectibles. Those who did not attend this event have till tomorrow to sign up to Shelbyverse.
